After eight months of training, system development, and internal evaluation based on international standards, CMC Telecom has officially obtained the ISO/IEC 22301:2019 certification for its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).

ISO/IEC 22301:2019 is regarded as the global “gold standard” for Business Continuity Management Systems, certified by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH (Germany), one of Europe’s leading independent certification bodies. The standard is typically applied only to technology and digital infrastructure enterprises with the most stringent operational requirements. It provides principles, methodologies, and tools that help organizations maintain stable operations even under the most complex risk scenarios such as natural disasters, technical failures, cyberattacks, or large-scale infrastructure disruptions. Obtaining this certification means that an enterprise must demonstrate strategic-level risk management capabilities—from Business Impact Analysis (BIA), building prevention–response–recovery models, conducting regular drills, to operating a service system that ensures availability and resilience at all times. This certification level is granted only to organizations with internationally recognized capabilities in risk management, operational reliability, and internal control systems.

In the context of rapid digital economy development, services such as internet connectivity, data transmission, data centers, voice services, and cloud computing have become the “backbone” of business operations. Even a few minutes of disruption can cause losses worth billions of VND, directly impacting customer experience and brand reputation.
