LEGAL BASIS
This Notice is issued pursuant to:
- The Intellectual Property Law of 2005, as amended and supplemented in 2025;
- The Law on Cybersecurity of 2018;
- The Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights of 2023;
- The Personal Data Protection Law of 2025;
- The Penal Code of 2015, as amended and supplemented in 2017;
- Decree No. 147/2024/ND-CP on the management, provision and use of Internet services and online information.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This Notice applies to all customers, partners, suppliers, users and members of the public who interact with or access information relating to CMC Telecom through digital channels in Vietnam and internationally.
PURPOSE
In order to ensure information transparency, protect the CMC Telecom brand, and enhance the safety and security of customers, partners and the community in the digital environment, CMC Telecom hereby publishes the list of its official digital channels.
This list constitutes the official source of information for verifying digital platforms, accounts and communication channels that are owned, managed or operated by CMC Telecom.
CMC Telecom recommends that customers, partners and the public only verify information, conduct transactions and communicate through the official channels published by CMC Telecom.
The list of official channels is periodically updated on CMC Telecom’s official website. The latest version of this Notice published on the official website shall prevail and remain legally effective.

BRAND PROTECTION AND DIGITAL IDENTITY PROVISIONS
The following acts constitute infringements of CMC Telecom’s intellectual property rights, brand rights and digital identity rights, and may be subject to legal action under applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Law, the Law on Cybersecurity, the Penal Code and other relevant legislation:
- Unauthorized use of CMC Telecom’s trade name, logo, slogan, brand message or visual identity system;
- Use of images of CMC Telecom’s employees, executives, customers, partners, offices, data centers, technical systems, events or assets without prior authorization;
- Creation of fraudulent accounts, websites, fan pages, community groups or digital platforms associated with CMC Telecom;
- Dissemination of false, misleading or deceptive information regarding any affiliation with CMC Telecom;
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deepfake technology or other generative technologies to impersonate or fabricate human images, voices, videos, technical systems, assets, events, logos, trademarks, brand messages or communication content relating to CMC Telecom in any form;
- Use of CMC Telecom’s image, identity or brand in connection with financial fraud, cryptocurrency schemes, fraudulent recruitment activities, unlawful data collection or any other illegal activities;
- Reproduction, exploitation, distribution or publication of content created by CMC Telecom, including articles, images, videos and technical documents, without prior written authorization.
DISCLAIMER
CMC Telecom shall bear no legal responsibility or liability for any information, content, transaction, statement, representation or commitment made through:
- Accounts not included in the official channel list published by CMC Telecom;
- Platforms impersonating the CMC Telecom brand or its personnel;
- Websites or domains that are not owned or managed by CMC Telecom;
- Content unlawfully using CMC Telecom’s brand, images or digital assets.
CMC Telecom does not:
- Request customers to transfer funds to personal bank accounts;
- Provide financial investment or cryptocurrency advice through TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram, Zalo or personal accounts;
- Request passwords, OTPs or confidential security credentials;
- Conduct recruitment activities through unverified accounts;
- Send technical information or contractual documents from email domains other than official CMC Telecom domains.
Any individual engaging in the above activities in the name of CMC Telecom acts without authorization. CMC Telecom reserves the right to cooperate with competent authorities to investigate and take legal action in accordance with applicable laws.
Any unauthorized use, impersonation or infringement of the CMC Telecom brand may be subject to civil, administrative and/or criminal liability under applicable laws.
UPDATES TO OFFICIAL DIGITAL CHANNELS
CMC Telecom reserves the right to add, modify, replace, suspend or discontinue any official digital channel published in this Notice in order to meet operational, business, security, compliance, legal or management requirements.
Such changes shall become effective upon publication on CMC Telecom’s official website without the need to reissue this Notice or provide separate notice to customers, partners, suppliers, users or any other parties.
The list of official digital channels published on CMC Telecom’s official website shall constitute the authoritative source for verification purposes and shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy, inconsistency or conflict with any previous versions, copies or related materials.
BRAND IMPERSONATION WARNING
Brand impersonation, employee impersonation, misuse of images or fraudulent platforms associated with CMC Telecom may appear in the digital environment for purposes including:
- Financial or cryptocurrency fraud;
- Unauthorized collection of personal information;
- Dissemination of false information;
- Other forms of online fraud.
CMC Telecom strongly recommends that customers and partners engage only through official channels published on the Company’s official website.
INFORMATION VERIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
CMC Telecom recommends that customers and partners:
- Verify official domains and accounts before conducting any transaction;
- Communicate only through email addresses under the official CMC Telecom domain;
- Never disclose OTPs, passwords or confidential security information to third parties;
- Exercise caution regarding accounts using the CMC Telecom name, logo or identity on TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram or other unverified platforms.
REPORTING IMPERSONATION
If you identify any account, website or platform suspected of impersonating CMC Telecom, please contact:
- Or send a message through any official social media channels owned by CMC Telecom.
Upon receiving an impersonation report, CMC Telecom may collect personal information of the reporting individual, including name, email address and telephone number. Such information shall be processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection laws and solely for the purpose of verifying and handling the report.
CMC Telecom commits that:
- Personal data shall only be used for verification and investigation purposes;
- Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties except where required by competent authorities under applicable laws;
- Personal data shall be retained only for the period necessary to process the case and for no longer than two (2) years from the date of receipt;
- Reporting individuals may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal data by contacting info@cmctelecom.vn.
