Job Objectives

• Implement and maintain core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, storage systems, operating systems, and databases.
• Take ownership of IT infrastructure design and support implementation of IT projects in compliance with internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform server administration activities together with the Group IPS (GIPS) team, including capacity monitoring, security patching, obsolescence management, and event-log review to ensure smooth system performance.
• Implement and maintain database synchronization, backup, and restoration across multiple sites.
• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat and Windows servers.
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to achieve optimal query performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and deliverables.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to provide and implement IT infrastructure architecture in IT projects.
• Coordinate with local vendors to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Provide regular updates and reports to relevant teams on IT infrastructure-related matters.

Key Requirements (Qualifications / Experience / Skills)

Mandatory

• English proficiency.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, especially in roles such as System Administrator or Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, modern IT equipment, backup and recovery procedures, system performance monitoring tools, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL and Oracle database administration.
• Experience in server and database architecture design.
• Experience working with Red Hat, Windows servers, and VMware.
