Job Objectives

• Implement and maintain core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, storage systems, operating systems, and databases.
• Take responsibility for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure components in assigned projects, ensuring alignment with internal standards and compliance requirements.
• Ensure high system availability, performance, and security through effective server hardening, patch management, and configuration management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end server administration, including capacity monitoring, security patching, performance tuning, log analysis, and obsolescence management.
• Execute server installation and configuration for new environments (Red Hat, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms), ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Implement and maintain server hardening measures such as OS baseline configuration, vulnerability remediation, access control enforcement, and audit policy configuration.
• Manage database synchronization, backup, and restore procedures across multi‑site environments.
• Work with internal and external partners to communicate project activities, progress, and milestones.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement IT infrastructure architecture for relevant IT projects.
• Coordinate with local vendors to troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Provide regular updates and reports on IT infrastructure matters to relevant teams.

Key Requirements

Mandatory

• Proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT roles, ideally as a System Administrator, System Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong understanding of server hardening, patch management, and security configuration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Red Hat, Windows Server), enterprise hardware platforms, backup/recovery solutions, performance monitoring tools, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle database administration is an advantage.
• Experience in server and database architecture design is preferred.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization platforms.
